Product Description

Title Line

Seeflex 040AS is a semi-transparent, ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane alloy with Anti-static infusion to ensure static does not build up through product flow (friction).

An anti-static strap is required for any occurence of electricity through the system that could be caused by any unexpected current/charge and is used to ensure a spark does not pass between pieces of equipment.

Application
  • Designed for applications where static is a problem.

  • Excellent abrasion, chemical and puncture resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Title Line
Is it possible to have very long connectors with an earthing strap?

It is not recommended. It is preferable to reduce the IG to < 2m and use the Seeflex 040AS (antistatic).
