Marketing Coordinator - New Zealand

(Based in the BFM Auckland office, New Zealand)

We are currently on an exciting journey and making a step-change in our marketing sophistication and are now looking to add another person to our marketing team. We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator with one to two years of marketing experience.

You will be a passionate individual who has broad marketing experience but with a slant towards digital marketing. You love analyzing metrics to see how we can improve our campaigns and website.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across our websites, email, social media, campaigns, and events. You will also work closely with our global distributor and partner network to support marketing activities.  

Role responsibilities and projects: 

  • Work with the marketing team to set up and roll out marketing campaigns 
  • Ensure the website is up to date
  • Work with content marketing to ensure it is optimised for SEO
  • Oversee and continually optimise LinkedIn outreach campaigns to increase opportunities
  • Implement website tests to improve conversion 
  • Optimise the website for SEO 
  • Actively respond to social media comments and support Content Marketing with regular posts
  • Work closely with our global distributors on quarterly updates and assisting with marketing support requests
  • Providing general day to day support to the marketing and sales teams
  • Seek out backlink opportunities
  • Lead enrichment – ensuring our marketing database is kept clean and we can attribute our marketing efforts to leads
  • Sales enablement support
  • Respond to website chats
  • Regular website and digital reporting 
  • Email marketing campaign set up and delivery
  • Trade show and event coordination

 Skills and Experience: 

•    Have 1-2 years of hands-on marketing experience 
•    Be digitally minded and love working with data to drive results
•    Understand Google Analytics and how to use it to drive insights 
•    Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing platforms and media  
•    You will have the ability to quickly pick up and put in place new systems and processes
•    Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised 
•    A degree qualification in marketing is desirable
•    Bonus if you have experience with HubSpot
•    Have a growth mindset 
•    Superb attention to detail 
•    Team player with a sense of humour

Assistant Accountant - New Zealand

(Based in the BFM Auckland office, New Zealand)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised individual, a real team player keen to join a fun, friendly team!

This role reports through to the Finance Manager and is responsible for day-to-day processing functions including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations. This role is also responsible for month-end sales reporting, commission calculation, weekly payroll, ad hoc analysis, and reporting. You will also assist in preparing GST and FBT returns. The ERP system utilised is Epicor, prior experience would be an advantage but not essential. Smart payroll is utilised for payroll processing.

We are seeking an employee to work 28 - 32 hours per week. We offer flexibility in terms of the hours of work each day, hours to be spread across 4 – 5 days each week.

There is the opportunity for growth and further opportunities for the right candidate given the international growth of the company, and other international subsidiaries currently being incorporated. BFM is keen to support you in your training, growth, and development. 
 

Responsibilities include:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Taxes, including GST, PAYE, and FBT
  • Payroll for a staff of 50, including office and operational staff
  • Accounts payable and receivable, with a particular focus on debtors
  • Commission calculations
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Sales, labour, and wastage reporting

Skills and Experience

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage your own workflow 
  • Strong excel skills
  • Either qualified through experience or working towards being qualified
  • Solid accounting and financial skills and experience (3+ years)

Business Development Manager – Northern Europe

(Home based in Arnhem, Netherlands)

About the role:

In this newly established position of Business Development Manager – Northern Europe, you’ll be responsible for:

  • the profitable revenue growth for BFM® fitting in the region, including the Original Equipment Manufacturers’ sector and through our established distributor network
  • building relationships with our Distributors, helping them to identify and grow opportunities within their markets, as well as provide training and technical support to them
  • growing relationships with multinational businesses, large OEM organizations and other key end-users
  • creating a pipeline of leads and developing them to being sales-ready through our sales pipeline
  • attending Tradeshows and undertaking customer site visits in conjunction with Distributors
  • contributing to the successful implementation of marketing strategies by providing us with local market insights and research.

To succeed in this position, you’ll need:  

  • a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or engineering
  • a high-level sales background, including familiarity with the manufacturing industry, and bulk powder handling in particular
  • a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • very high levels of drive and self-motivation
  • to live in the Netherlands (ideally based in Arnhem) and be prepared to travel throughout Northern Europe as required
  • to be able to speak both German and English.
