The beauty of BFM®'s patented snap-fit cuff system is that it requires no clamps or tools; the connectors fit in the correct position every time, providing a 100% seal, and they can be changed over in seconds.

They're designed to make your life easier, but like anything, technique matters. If your team isn’t installing our connectors correctly, you could be missing out on the full performance benefits.

The Good News? It’s Even Easier Than You Think.

In this short video clip, we show you exactly how to snap-fit a BFM® connector into place — and remove it again.

Whether you’re installing Seeflex 040E or any of our standard range of connectors,  the basic installation technique is the same:

  1. Seat the back of the connector cuff within the spigot ridges.

  2. Form a kidney shape out of the cuff with your thumbs

  3. Position the rest of the cuff to sit inside the spigot, in line with the ridges,  and release your thumbs

Done! No clamps, no tools, no second-guessing the right position or length.

You can also remove a standard BFM® connector with one thumb - with the right technique!

And if for any reason the connector doesn't snap fully in place the first time, we show you a quick and easy technique to remedy that in seconds.

Perfect for Training

If you've got staff who aren't familiar with the BFM® snap-fit system, this video is a great training resource. Bookmark it. Share it. Play it on a loop during team training!

NOTE: If you've got our Tool Release Connectors in your plant, we've got a separate video with some tips on installing and removing Tool Release Connectors safely, too.
